Classical art songs and modern poetry – lieder recital meets poetry reading in this series of events organized jointly with the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin. Each of the four evening events held in the foyer of the Deutsche Oper Berlin will feature a poet reading original works whose themes complement the songs on the program. On February 8, 2017, Seth will be singing songs from Andrea Lorenzo Scartazzini, who is also composing Deutsche Oper's world premiere of Richard II, which opens that same month. Also performing that evening will be Ronnita Miller and Matthew Newlin, with poet Ulrike Draesner and pianist John Parr.
