Seth is excited to announce his debut with the New National Theatre Tokyo in the world premiere of Dai Fujikura’s fascinating new opera, A Dream of Armageddon. Based on a science fiction novella by H. G. Wells and featuring a libretto by poet Harry Ross, this is sure to be a mind-bending exploration of fate and how far we are willing to let dangerous forces continue before we try to stand in their way. This will be Mr. Carico’s third collaboration with a production team led by Lydia Steier, following their success together in The Rake’s Progress and Diodati. Unendlich, both with Theater Basel. Seth will be joined onstage by an ideal theatrical match in American tenor, Peter Tantsits, and NNTT Music Director Kazushi Ono will conduct.
