The Grimeborn Festival in London has become one of the most exciting destinations for opera lovers thirsty for something a little different. Every summer they put on a varied program of new works and timeless classics reinterpreted for a new audience. This year they are taking on the ambitious project of Das Rheingold. After great success with last year’s production of The Rape of Lucretia, stage director Julia Burbach and music director Peter Selwyn team up again to mount Richard Wagner’s masterpiece, in a version adapted by Graham Vick and Jonathan Dove. Seth will appear as Alberich, alongside Noel Bouley as Wotan, Philip Sheffield as Loge, and Harriet Williams as Erda.
