After a successful collaboration in Basel with the celebrated director Lydia Steier for Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress, Mr. Carico joins her again there for the world premiere of Michael Wertmüller's Diodati. Unendlich, with a libretto by prolific German playwright Dea Loher. Telling the story of the famous meeting in Geneva of Lord Byron and the Shelleys, which resulted in the creation of several landmarks of gothic literature, Seth will be seen as Dr. John Polidori. Titus Engel will conduct.
