Boleslaw Barlog's seemingly immortal production of Tosca has run every season at the Deutsche Oper Berlin since 1969 for good reason. It is a classic representation of Puccini's immense talent as a dramatist. The production makes no effort to change the composer's work and yet manages to remain entirely fresh and exciting up to this very day. Seth will appear as the Sacristan, and Ivan Repusic will be at the podium, leading this magnificent cast, also featuring Jorge de León as Cavaradossi, Zeljko Lucic as Scarpia, Byung Gil Kim as Angelotti, and the thrilling soprano Carmen Giannattasio in the title role.
